Jesus – the Lamb of God

Behold the Lamb of God!

Jesus is called the “Lamb of God”  in bible reference and is referred to as such only by John, the forerunner of Christ.

This phrase is only found in one gospel, the gospel of John.

The next day John seeth Jesus coming unto him, and saith, Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world.

 ~ John 1:29 ~

And looking upon Jesus as he walked, he saith (John), Behold the Lamb of God!

~ John 1:36 ~

Dream of experiencing hearing the voice of John as he says, “Behold the lamb of God”!

As the dream opened up,  I was walking into an area with bleachers like at a high school football field.  I quickly sat down on one of the breacher benches after walking through a chain-linked entrance gate.   I discovered that the bleachers were all empty and that no one else was attending this event (still thinking there would be a football game).

I noticed, however,  that the playing field was not marked as a football field.  As I pondered this field and what this place was, the field area, its air and sky, suddenly became dark overcast, dungeon-like, as I saw dark smokey low clouds hover over this field.

The foliage had suddenly appeared and sprang up out of this ground and became overgrown. Also, I did not hear any sound of life,  including locusts, chirping birds, or the sound of leaves, as there was no breeze in the air.

BUT SUDDENLY, the voice of a man and angelic-like music began to sound.  As the voice and sound got louder (like a marching band getting nearer)  this dark and dungy foliage field began to turn into a morning and dawning experience, like a new spring day.   The trees,  plants, and foliage were beginning to take on the bright colors of spring.

This man’s voice and music rang out,

“Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world”

“Behold the Lamb of God which takes away the sin of the world”

This message and music continued and repeated again and again, and as this sound rang out, the darkness began to dissipate as this field and sky changed, rather transformed,  into a glowing bright new dawn.

It was like witnessing the early season of a new spring day, with bright colors with all the foliage and trees with full leaves that were deep green.  The dark gray clouds also disappeared as they could not overcome the brightness of the early morning sunlight.

We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:   ~ 2 Peter 1:19 ~

The change of darkness into light, from a dark winter-like scene into a new day dawn, a new spring season had begun in my conscience.

We must first experience John, the spirit of Elijah because this experience reveals the Goodness of God which brings repentance from dead works. This, in turn, introduces us to the true Jesus (the Word of God).

The Lamb is the Light:

And the city did not need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.   ~ Rev 21:23 ~
