I’d like to share a conversation I had with a Christian woman (her name is Debbie), concerning a dream she had. She is a faithful member of a Christian Church in the east valley of Phoenix Arizona.
She told me she had never told anyone her dream experience and had kept it to herself for almost eight years. She said that she had been too afraid to tell anyone about it, because she thought that they would think that she might be mentally unstable. However, Debbie felt at liberty to tell me the dream; after I had told her about my own dream experience of seeing Jesus (will be shared in another blog).
Her dream was the story of a woman caught in adultery which is found in the book of John (chapter 8). She witnessed seeing Jesus and watched as the scribes and Pharisees found reason to accuse a woman caught in adultery. She watched as they brought this woman to Jesus to see what he would do. So, I asked her what else occurred in the dream. She replied well nothing more or less than what we read in the Gospel of John. So, I enquired further to find the meaning of this dream. I asked, “Well, Debbie, what did you just know and understand as this event was being shown in the dream”? Even to her own surprise, she knew exactly (had a right answer); she immediately replied “the woman is the church”.
Although in the writings in Saint John chapter 8, there is no mention of whom the woman is representing, yet the Spirit revealed this to Debbie, while she was watching this, in the dream.
However, before I received it as a truth by the Spirit of Truth, I searched the scriptures to see if the Bible confirmed this knowing and understanding. Sure enough, I found in the writings of Paul in Ephesians chapter 5; that the woman is the body of Christ, she is the church and she is the wife. And in the vision of the revelation of Jesus Christ to John:

v.17 Let us be glad and rejoice and give honor to him, for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife has made herself ready.Rev 21
v. 9 And there came unto me one of the seven angels… and talked with me, saying, Come hither, I will shew thee the bride the Lamb’s wife.
v.10. And he carried me away in the spirit to a great and high mountain, and shewed me that great city, the holy Jerusalem, descending out of heaven from God.
So what Debbie experienced in seeing by dream, this story unfold, found only in the Gospel of John, is the spirit prophecy in operation.
